Arlington Fellows
The Arlington Fellows programs are cohort academic programs that challenge Mason undergraduates to take their learning to the next level. Apply what you are studying in the classroom to the real world and better prepare yourself to be a Mason Graduate! These semester-long, 15 credit academic programs take place at the Mason Square campus and incorporate a significant internship into your experience.
Global Politics Fellows is our foundational program, having been offered every semester for the past 12 years. We have also regularly organized other programs, such as Peacebuilding, Migration Policy and Advocacy, and Next System fellowships.
Features:
- Classes are designed specifically for, and exclusive to, each program.
- Smaller classes comprising of admitted cohort fellows allow for deeper student discussion and the opportunity to delve into the program's focus.
- Internships provide students the chance to immediately apply what they are learning and offer greater insight into their future careers.
- The cohort experience helps build enduring networks - both in and outside of the classroom.
- Most programs are open to all majors and some allow you to complete a minor or a concentration in one semester.
The Global Politics Fellows (GPF) program will be offered next in Fall 2025. Applications will start to be accepted in March / April 2025. This page and the GPF site will continue to be updated; we invite you to visit back regularly for further information on important dates and the application process.
